WRAPIOpenNdisDevice

Use the WRAPIOpenNdisDevice method to bind to an NDIS device that is returned from a call to WRAPIEnumerateDevices.
HRESULT WRAPIOpenNdisDevice(
  WCHAR* pwDeviceName
);

Parameters

pwDeviceName
[in] Specifies the name of the device to bind to. The device name is Windows qualified name that can be accessed from the pDeviceName member of the WRAPI_NDIS_DEVICE structure.

Return Values

The WRAPIOpenNdisDevice method returns an HRESULT indicating the status of the call. Error values can be found using GetLastError(). A common error value returned from this function is ERROR_BUSY (HRESULT = 170) which indicated that the requested resource is in use.
